Stonehorn Dignitary

Wassup guys. I know I haven't posted any new content on the blog for a few weeks, but its been the holidays so yeah. I hope everyone else has been having a wonderful holiday season, all with your gift wrapping, turkey basting and tree shopping. But down here at MTG Analyer we gettin' down to biz! Today we will be looking at the Stonehorn Dignitary, the first white card to be analyzed on MTG Analyzer Wooo!!

Stonehorn Dignitary oozes with white-plains magic, we have damage prevention in the form of phase skipping, and he is a pretty good defender to boot with a toughness of 4. Also it is pretty decent for a common card. Yeah it is pretty expensive being a four drop, but you essentially get a free turn, and a 1/4 white creature on the field. Great for situations that could mean near-death, or if your just biding your time 'till that card you want comes out.

Stonehorn Dignitary plays really well if he can be played multiple times. Using Glimmerpoint Stag, or Unsummon can be used to reactivate Stonehorn Dignitary's triggered ability. Stonehorn Dignitary could also be very good friends with Venser, the Sojourner, whose +2 ability exiles a target permanent that you own and brings it back under your control.

This card is in my top ten in regards to flavor. Dave Kendall really makes the rhino-man look imposing, with the human citizens looking in what could be awe or fear. The text also make you feel like all eyes are on the dignitary. So the art in rate at a 10/10 and the text a nice 9/10.

Well thats it for today. Happy holidays!
P.S. Finally did a card review that wasn't from Innistrad! *highfive*
